Seawatching Is Grrrrreat

Very quick one, more to come soon [would have posted earlier, but I got distracted by pretty albatrossies*]

3/9; got to the Nose after the weather started to co-operate. Very interesting one, as normally you suffer the rain and then get the birds. This time I got the birds and then the rain arrived and just. Didn't. Stop.

I was under a time constraint, so had to give up while it was still tipping down. The SWBCM was in full flow, though only a few gulls and the odd Fulmar were in. Oh well?

Not huge numbers, not even reasonable numbers, but ah.. the quality. When your first scan with actual birds [manky Herring Gulls don't count] scores Great, you know it might be fun.

Definitely worth getting rained on for three hours!

And to think, if it hadn't been today, I would have been at 'Gwarra. [Oh well, they only had a Fea's and hordes of big shears...!]

Be Seeing You..

[*No prizes for guessing what I've been given!]
