All The Other Bits. Pt. 1; On Patch

Effort put in, what came out? Well, best sighting wasn't even a bird.

Ok, sort of a bird, but I'll get to that.

Queen Mary 2

[Not QM II, note; a detail of which I do not entirely approve.]

Ahem.

On the proper birding front, when I've been out and about, some passage - mostly Swallows and Mipits, with one burst of warblers - but mostly horribly lacking in anything notable, let alone fun.

Oh well, keep at it, eh?

One, two, three, four...

Hurst Point

Ok, enough ships..

Grey Seal

One of three attending the assorted anglers at Hope's Nose.

Er, yeah, so I don't have anything spectacular to note of on the bird front, well, apart from this thing;

Look at the eyering on that!

Short-looking tail, too. Got me going just a little, I must admit.

Before anyone else thinks of getting going..

Yes, it's a Whitethroat

What else has been catching the eye?

Well..

Spitfire!!

That'd be City Of Exeter. Doing loops and rolls offshore. Not jealous.

LTT. Awwwww

Grasshopper sp.

Skylark
[1cy]

Bee sp.

Right, due to things taking far too long to get to, I'm cutting this off here and will post more Patch stuff later.

There will be fungi and maybe even other things.

Also, the new 'improved' [ie. less functional and harder to use easily, well done there] blogger interface now appears to be unavoidable, so any weird structures / formats etc. will be their fault.

[[For example, every time while writing this I hit the paragraph button, it automatically shifts view to bottom of field]]
