More Of Not The Same

I have family [shock] and sometimes we do things together. Things like wander up onto t'Moor in weather no sane person would countenance and merrily enjoy a nicpic huddled in shelter while wind howls and rain passes [..yes, because of the wind. :D ]

This week I managed wrangle not only the Folks but Sister the Even Younger out and we had tea at Emsworthy, while the forecast breaking-up clouds working on evening sunshine proved to be thickening clouds raining at us...
The Sun eventually put in an appearance, but not until we were leaving.

See?

Sunset.

Lovely.

Few birds and many humbug coobeasties [a problem when you have a Little Black Dog with you..], so we were off to one side in the only livestock-free paddock, but it was still lovely. Yes, even when it rained.
Not birdless, as one or possibly two Redstarts teased from the Hawthorn orchards - one each side but not at the same time. Very little else apart from Moor standards.

Also not at the Nose, I gave the Real Living Coast its first go of the season on the 1st, and found no Purple Sands but 6 Turnstone,

"I still can't find any..."

"..Me either."

As for the Nose...

Juvenile GBB with parents

Begging call not quite as annoying as Herring's.

Magpie

Slightly less pristine Painted Lady
than last time.

Still blowing and overcast. Did find a very mobile Willow Warbler on IMD, but it was, yes you guessed it, too nippy to be photo'd. Very little else.

Time would pass, eventually the weather would change, but would anything else?
Stay tuned to this channel to find out!

Be Seeing You...
