Patch Post One

With multiple meanders on multiple days, a lot of multiplication of sightings ["No Willow Warblers." "No Willow Warblers" "No Willow Warblers" "At LAAAAAAST!!". Ahem. {Oh, was that a spoiler?}], and so on, not to mention a silly number of photos I've deemed worthy of inflicting putting up, I'm going to put up a whole lot of shorter posts with minimal burbling. These will be split - posts of about the Patchness and some topical ones. I'll be working in chronological order, more or less.

Yeah, not breaking this not-enough-talking cycle any time soon, am I?

One consolation is that less than 10% of these pictures will involve gulls, though they are all horrid Herrings. I even have some [mostly] sharp shots of things in the air coming up, and some nice plants.

But I won't be letting you know what's coming up from the titles. Because that would be no fun at all, would it?

So, firstly....

Scene-setting

Courting Fulmars

Male Blackbirds
striking a lot of poses

Gull, to Glonk on east slope:
"You're ok, mate. He can't quite see you"

"Goooooone fishin'"

Photobomb

Duck[s]!

"Ok, here's your picture, now
clear off!"

Just a few gulls

Closer to..
They're all Herrings

Nice-tail 2cy

Great skies around at the moment

So, no fancy gulls and no fancy migrants, at least then. However, Spring is sproinging away nicely.

Coming up; more ranging about the Patch, a great visit in awful weather, and a few pretties as bonuses for lack of proper photos..

Not necessarily in exactly that order. ;)

Be Seeing You...
