As I post this, it is finally, wonderfully, blessedly, TIPPING down with rain... Joy.
Getting on with it;
Like it says on the tin.
First up, some News. The local Swifts departed for pastures.. I was going to say 'sunnier' or 'warmer', but well... Anyways, they went on the 4th. Summer is over, somebody tell the weather? Please??
Second, I have been chasing things [very slowly] on Patch and a post about said Things and my success or lack thereof, in catching them [including gratuitous Moth Porn! Be warned...] will be coming 'soon'.
Right, pictureses.
Let's start fancy;
Life is Art
:)
Tessier, always with the surprises
Someone's bee-n busy
[groan]
Odda's Combe
Hanging around in the sunshine, looking for butterflies and waiting for the chocolate shop to open. Ah, Hard Times....
Hard times? Well;
Comet NEOWISE
Oh wait, you can't see it, because there's cloud in the way.
Just where it is.
Every single 'clear' night I've had this isssue. No comet for me....
I waited until I had more light
to take this nice shot of Venus. Nowt else.
See that teeny bit of cloud?
to take this nice shot of Venus. Nowt else.
See that teeny bit of cloud?
Yeah.
Ok, enough moaning.
Meadow Brown
Silver Y Moth
White-tailed Bumblebee on Campion
Common Storksbill
Hedge Woundwort
Crab Spider on Rose
Ok, this is not technically on Patch - being Sister The Youngest's garden - but her skill at roses [and spiders*!] requires a little anonymous publicity.
Kicked by oiks,
I think this is a small [!?] Giant Polypore??
Inevitable 'pretty clouds' shot
Maximum Effort!
Ahem.
Be Seeing You...
[[* I'd love to find a Crab Spider in my garden...]]
