Fewer Rants, More Butterflies.

Got to give the public what they want.

So, after much ado, chasing about, getting annoyed, and stepping in holes [don't arsk], I finally have an in-focus shot of Marbled White this year!
[And there were only about 11 of them bombing around the Nose on Sunday, too. From First Slope right down to flying past me at the Steps, even!]

Thus;

Marbled White

Never said it was a perfect photo, mind... This is one of three that were patrolling about the Blasted Heath [others were; two on First Slope, five about South Side upper dell, and the one flying about the bare rocks of the Steps {?!?} ]
Also on said Heath [the uppersection of the Second Slope meadow; formerly an area of Blackthorn, thus Blasted*] was this;

Large Skipper

Not showing too bad, though.  :)

Meadow Brown

About a half dozen now about the Nose.

Small White

This one along IMD, but a couple of white sp. at the Nose were probably Smalls, too.

Isn't that better.?

Proper posting will resume shortly [though there's a pile of moffs to drop on you as well.. Yikes.], with why I was at the Nose on Sunday [though you can mayhaps guess... ;) ]

Be Seeing You...

[[* This is also a punne, or play on words, as without the cover of the Blackthorns, it's utterly exposed to the wind..     I never said it was a good pun.]]
